There was a time – believe it or not – when EagleVail was considered the boonies! It was at least seven minutes out of town. The Town of Vail, that is. These days, the first “suburban” area is in the center of everything! Beaver Creek Mountain and the Town of Avon are, literally, a mile down the road, and, Edwards, with its restaurants and movies is only six miles away.
There is something about EagleVail that gives it a wonderful neighborly feel, and the community amenities only add to the warmth of the neighborhood. Pocket parks abound for kids and adults alike to enjoy. During the summer, residents can be found enjoying the pool, tennis courts and sports fields or heading out to catch the bike trail east to Vail Pass or west to Eagle. The EagleVail Golf Club and Willow Creek Par 3 are a hop, skip and a jump from most of the homes for sale, and the EagleVail pavilion hosts an array of events all year long. In winter, you’ll find residents heading up the mountain on snowshoes or walking their dogs on the snow- covered fairways.
One of EagleVail’s best-kept secrets is the extensive trail system that winds through the neighborhood. Paulie’s Plunge (aka Stone Creek Trail), Whiskey Creek and Paulie’s Little Sister all begin in EagleVail and connect to Beaver Creek, Meadow Mountain and beyond.
Restaurants and almost every type of store you can think of – sporting goods, home and grocery to name a few – are within a mile of EagleVail. Don’t have a car? Not to worry. There are multiple bus stops in EagleVail to take you up or down valley. EagleVail’s motto is, “Live. Play. Relax. Enjoy.” — and this neighborhood truly lives up to its motto.
