"2023 was a very eventful year for the real estate market in Vail Village and Beaver Creek! The high demand and low inventory have driven up prices, especially for condos. It's impressive to see Vail achieve a sale above $5,000/sq ft. and our team recorded the highest sale for a condo at $19,500,000.
The number of condo sales above $10m in both Vail and Beaver Creek is also quite noteworthy with 15 total sales. It's interesting to watch the change in the ultra high end of the single-family home market, with fewer sales above $10m in 2023 compared to 2022. Our team is grateful to have participated in 4 of the top 10 sales for 2023! I anticipate sales activity to continue to normalize to pre-pandemic conditions in 2024, especially with the potential for a slower second half of the year due to it being an election year. The driving force behind this market's consistent strength continues to be powered by Vail’s position as a top luxury resort in the world."
