Best 1st Quarter ever!
Eagle County real estate continues to remain strong after posting the best 1st quarter ever with more than $760M in total dollar volume. March saw 223 transactions with $304M in sales volume, bringing the 1st quarter total to 545 transactions. This is 60% higher than last year for the same time period. There were 3 areas that contributed more than $40M in total dollar volume in March:
- Vail Village had 18 sales totaling $47,312,600
- Bachelor Gulch had $47,112,000 in sales volume over 11 transactions
- Beaver Creek contributed 20 sales and $41,361,500 in total dollar volume
Through the first quarter of 2021, the overall average sales price was $1,408,776, the highest average sales price ever in Eagle County.
There were 7 homes that sold for $5M or more in March, bringing the total in that category to 21 over the 1st three months of 2021. These sales have contributed to an increase of 17% in single family home values since December 2020. You can view the entire breakdown on page 12 of the attached market analysis.
We continue to see a rise in Eagle County buyers from outside Colorado. For the first time, there were more out-of-state buyers in March (85) than local buyers (83). We continue to see the trend of Texas and Florida home buyers coming to Eagle County.
