1. Vail Yeti Ice Hockey: January Extravaganza Catch the thrill of semi-pro hockey with Vail’s very own Yeti as they take on competitors in the Mountain West Hockey League. Games run from January 1st to March 9th, with exciting matches on the 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 26th, and 27th.
2. "Vail Mail" Postcard System: Send Memories from the Top! Experience the unique "Vail Mail" postcard system at the Legacy Hut atop Chair 4. Guests can write postcards with breathtaking mountain views and drop them in a box right there. The resort takes care of postage and mailing.
3. Thursday Night Lights at Beaver Creek Join the Thursday Night Lights ski down and fireworks at Beaver Creek throughout the ski season. Skiers level 4 and above can register in the afternoon, receiving a light-up baton for the glow.
4. Dine with Dogs: Sundays at Henry's Hut Every Sunday, meet members of Vail Ski Patrol and their avalanche dogs at Henry's Hut. Enjoy dog training, rescue drills, and Q&As with patrollers between 10:30 and 11:30 A.M.
5. 10th Mountain Legacy Parade: A Historic Spectacle On January 12th at 6 PM, witness skiers in traditional 10th Mountain Division Ski Trooper uniforms performing a Torchlight Ski Down to the base of Vail's Gondola One, followed by a parade of military veterans.
