A beacon of Downtown Manhattan luxury, each of the thirty-three Woolworth Tower Residences are individually crafted by the office of Thierry W. Despont and seamlessly combine pre-war proportions and state of the art technology with features that include finished ceiling heights up to twenty-two feet and multiple exposures offering spectacular bridge, river, park and cityscape views.

    THE RESIDENCES

Built in 1913 and celebrated as the tallest building in the world at the time of completion, The Woolworth Building majestically rises above City Hall Park at the gateway to Tribeca. This National Historic Landmark has inspired countless painters, photographers, movie makers, dreamers, and everyday New Yorkers. Today under the architectural and aesthetic direction of Thierry W Despont, the top thirty floors of this celebrated structure are being reimagined into thirty-three prized condominium residences, crowned by a extraordinary seven-story Pinnacle Penthouse.

FRANK W. WOOLWORTH & CASS GILBERT

An indomitable team that would change the skyline of New York City, Frank Winfield Woolworth was a retail pioneer; by 1910, just thirty-one years after his first five and dime store opened, he was a mogul, looking to build a trophy headquarters building at one of the most prominent corners in downtown New York. Cass Gilbert was a master craftsman who was always up for a challenge. Trained at M.I.T. in the principles of the Parisian École des Beaux-Arts, he was an early proponent of the American Skyscraper. F.W. Woolworth’s commission gave Gilbert the opportunity to develop his principles and ideals on a monumental scale.

    DOWNTOWN

The incomparable location of The Woolworth Building offers immediate access to the best of Tribeca as well as The New Downtown, Manhattan’s new epicenter of culture and commerce. The future of New York begins here, surrounded by the new world headquarters of Condé Nast, Time Inc, Dow Jones, HarperCollins, and more than 600 leading tech and creative industry firms. It’s a culinary destination with Eataly, Le District, Hudson Eats, and new restaurants by world-renowned chefs Tom Colicchio, Nobu Matsuhisa, Keith McNally, Jean-Georges Vongrichten, and David Chang. Fashion forward with a new flagship Saks Fifth Avenue surrounded by a runway of iconic shopping including Gucci, Hermes, Apple, Tiffany, Salvatore Ferragamo and more. It’s the start of something extraordinary.
